The ARRIS DOCSIS 3.0 Gateway TG1672 combines two analog voice lines, a 4- port Gigabit Router, MoCA and a Dual Band 802.11n wireless access point into a single integrated device. This model also features Intel’s multi-processor technology. As a result, the TG1672G can achieve high bandwidth performance without affecting the ARRIS legendary standard of voice quality.

Quality Voice Services & Phone Lines

This model features 2 built-in phone lines. Since the TG1672G has 2 separate phone lines, it can be used for both a telephone and security system, or with 2 separate phone lines. Additionally, the two lines are supported by this model’s built-in battery backup which allows your device to make and receive calls, even during a power outage.

Time Warner Cable & Spectrum customers please note: These carriers do not have firmware to support activation of phone on this model however, if you have this model installed, they will allow you to keep your previously rented modem for free (with not recurring monthly rental fee) since this model does have integrated phone lines.
